Dill Weed

Dill is a delicate, feathery herb with a fresh, grassy flavor and distinctive aroma. Both the leaves, commonly called dill weed, and the seeds are used in cooking, although they have different flavors and applications.

Fresh dill is particularly popular in pickling, seafood dishes, sauces, salads, potatoes, and cool summer preparations. Its delicate leaves are best added toward the end of cooking.
