    How to Buy

Let customers know how they can buy from you.

Charlestown Farm is a family-owned, sustainably grown Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm located on 40 rolling acres in Charlestown Township, just outside Phoenixville in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The land was purchased by three generations of the Andersen family in 2000 to preserve the scenic valley from development and provide the local community with fresh, responsibly grown food. The farm grows a wide variety of non-certified organic vegetables, small fruits, herbs, and flowers, taking care to harvest everything at peak ripeness. The CSA, launched in 2003, has grown to around 150 members who enjoy weekly vegetable pickups at the farm from June through November. Members also have access to U-pick gardens with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, cherry tomatoes, peas, beans, and flowers, along with recipes, newsletters, and special farm events. In the off-season, cold-hardy crops like kale, collards, radishes, and scallions are grown in hoophouses and made available year-round. In addition to CSA membership, Charlestown Farm sells its produce at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market every Saturday from 9AM to 1PM, and supplies selected local restaurants — making fresh, local food accessible to the wider community.
