Good Harvest Farms is a family-owned farm stand located inside the Lancaster County Farmer's Market at 389 West Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, PA. Founded in 1990 by Chris Powell, the business began as a small roadside stand and has grown steadily over the decades by focusing on selling the freshest fruits and vegetables directly to the consumer. The home farm and greenhouse are based in Strasburg, Lancaster County, at 336 Bunker Hill Road. The farm operates over 50,000 square feet of greenhouse growing space, including 4,000 square feet of hydroponics for year-round production of fresh lettuce and herbs handpicked to order. The farm's 28 outdoor acres yield an impressive range of crops including sweet corn, strawberries, peas, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, cantaloupes, honeydew, lima beans, French and wax beans, cabbage, and a wide variety of regular and heirloom tomatoes. Three high tunnels allow for earlier-season tomato harvests, and two large mum fields round out the seasonal offerings.
