Mint

Mint is a fragrant herb known for its refreshing aroma and cool, slightly sweet flavor. There are many varieties, including spearmint, peppermint, chocolate mint, apple mint, and other specialty types. Spearmint is commonly used in cooking because of its milder flavor, while peppermint tends to be stronger and more intensely mentholated.

Mint is most often used fresh, although it can also be dried. Its bright flavor works particularly well in summer dishes, beverages, sauces, and desserts.
