Meepah Ventures LLC is a family-owned alpaca farm nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in scenic Bedford County, PA, owned and operated by Tony and Debbie Wambaugh. The farm has been in the family since 1813 and was lovingly revitalized with a herd of approximately 25 Huacaya alpacas, which serve as both the main attraction for visitors and the source of fiber for their handcrafted products. The farm produces a wide range of quality alpaca fiber goods, including project yarns, sock yarns, felted hats, dryer balls, and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items — all made from their own fleece. Alpacas of various types, from pet and fiber boys to breeding females and champion studs, are also available for purchase. Visitors are welcome to enjoy barn and pasture tours by appointment, with hands-on alpaca experiences that are perfect for all ages. The farm store is open by appointment, and their products are also available at the Backstage Alpaca Shop inside Founders Crossing in Bedford, PA, as well as online at meepah.net with shipping available upon request.
