LEAF Project

Youth - We hire youth leaders, ages 14-18, into paid year-round jobs. Our youth gain valuable workforce skills, gain awareness of their unique talents, meaningfully work in the food system, and make a positive impact on their community. Food - We have a small 3-acre farm where youth work with staff to raise produce for restaurants and individuals in the area. We also work with local chefs learning culinary skills, providing meals for hunger relief organizations, and creating farm-fresh preserves. Community - We believe in building resilient, compassionate, and connected communities. We work with and learn from other local farmers and artisans, work at local markets, partner with powerful non-profits, and hold workshops that help our youth think critically about our world.
