Laurel Vista Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Somerset County, PA, with over 100 years of family farming history. The farm is managed by two sisters, Marian Soldano and Rita Resick Stafford, along with their husbands Ken and Rick, who all live and work on the property. The farm grows a variety of fresh vegetables including green beans, peppers, tomatoes, sweet onions, and potatoes, which are sold as fresh produce at local grocery stores and farmers markets. Beyond the growing season, Laurel Vista crafts a line of specialty jarred products called "Local Produce in a Jar," made directly from what they grow including Somerset Snaps Dilly Beans, Somerset Sweet Onion & Garlic Jam, an array of Pickled Peppers ranging from Sweet & Sassy to Wild & Wicked to Fire & Brimstone, and Ramp Hollow Mustard. These products are available at events and festivals across southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as at select grocery stores, specialty stores, and markets.
