Windsong Organic Farm is a small, family-operated vegetable farm located at 31 King George Road in Warren Township, New Jersey. Established in 2010 on the historic site of Farmer John's Organic Produce, the farm continues a longstanding tradition of organic agriculture dating back to 1974. Operated by farmer Diane Skoss, Windsong Farm specializes in growing more than 50 varieties of fresh vegetables and herbs using organic and environmentally responsible farming practices. Its seasonal harvest includes heirloom tomatoes, carrots, beets, lettuce, kale, cucumbers, green beans, sweet peppers, spinach, garlic, winter squash, and fresh culinary herbs. Windsong Farm operates primarily through its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership program. Members receive regular shares of freshly harvested produce during the growing season, with options for standard or double-sized shares and weekly or alternate-week collection. The farm also offers an online share customization system, allowing members to request preferred vegetables or additional quantities when available. Produce is collected directly from the farm during scheduled pickup periods. Windsong emphasizes healthy soil, biodiversity, composting, resource conservation, and sustainable land management. Its farming approach focuses on maintaining productive soil while minimizing unnecessary agricultural inputs. Through its community-supported model, Windsong Farm connects local households with fresh, seasonal food and supports the continuation of organic agriculture in Somerset County.
