Oak Grove Plantation is a 160-acre family-owned farm located in Pittstown, New Jersey, operated by the Blew family since 1977. The farm focuses on sustainable agriculture, growing fresh seasonal food, raising livestock, and producing a diverse range of farm-made products. The farm grows a wide selection of heirloom vegetables, including tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, cucumbers, squash, lettuce, and pumpkins. Its orchards produce apples, peaches, and Asian pears, while its gardens also provide fresh herbs, sunflowers, and seasonal flowers. Oak Grove Plantation raises pork and Angus beef, along with chickens that provide farm-fresh eggs. The family also grows grains that are milled into flour and cornmeal and produces a variety of popcorn products. Its on-site commercial kitchen prepares homemade breads, pies, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods. Customers can purchase farm products through a seasonal Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, the farm's roadside stand, advance-order farm pickup, and New York City's Union Square Greenmarket. Selected products are also available through online ordering and shipping.
