Hameau Farm is a working grass-based dairy farm nestled in the Big Valley of central Pennsylvania, Belleville, Mifflin County. The farm is home to the Plum Bottom herd of registered purebred Ayrshire cows, rotationally grazed from April through December. Alongside cattle, the farm also raises Jacob sheep, free-range chickens, pigs, and goats. The farm takes its name from the French word for a small hamlet or village community — a fitting description for the close-knit farm life it cultivates. In addition to its dairy operations, Hameau Farm is well known for its unique sleepaway summer camp for girls, now in its over 23rd season, where campers participate in daily farm chores, care for animals, and enjoy a wide range of creative and outdoor activities. Farm products including raw milk are available through their online farm store
