Canter Hill Farm is a small family farm in Malvern, Chester County, PA, owned and operated by Wayne and Jeannette Grabe since 2008. What began as a personal mission to return to heritage breeds and chemical-free food production has grown into a beloved local source for responsibly raised meats and poultry across the greater Philadelphia region. The farm raises an impressive and diverse range of animals, including chicken, turkey, duck, guinea hens, lamb, and heritage pork — all without the use of any chemicals, synthetic fertilisers, or antibiotics. Poultry is supplemented with a custom-milled, organic, soy-free, and GMO-free feed, and all animals freely roam during the day with nighttime pens for protection. Meat chickens are raised in movable pens for regular access to fresh grass. The sheep flock is 100% grass and hay fed with no feed supplementation whatsoever. In addition to their home farm in Malvern, Canter Hill leases 180 acres of additional grazing land in Lancaster County — all chemical and spray-free, where much of their beef and sheep flock rotates through the summer months. All beef and lamb is 100% grass-fed and finished.
