Two Gander Farm is a 20-acre USDA Certified Organic family farm nestled within a 260-acre preserve owned by the Brandywine Conservancy in Downingtown, Chester County, PA. The farm is operated by husband-and-wife team Trey and Deirdre Flemming, both trained ecologists who have channeled their knowledge of ecology into a deeply intentional approach to regenerative farming since 2010. The farm grows a wide and diverse range of certified organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers across four seasons. Field production runs from April through late November, while 6,000 square feet of high tunnel growing space keeps the farm productive year-round. Specialty crops include microgreens, pea shoots, baby ginger, turmeric, and heirloom tomatoes, alongside an extensive seasonal lineup of greens, root vegetables, peppers, squash, melons, and much more. The farm uses no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides relying instead on crop rotation, cover cropping, and biodiversity to maintain healthy, thriving soils.
