Forge Hill Farms is a family-owned CSA farm situated on a 36-acre preserved property in Downingtown, Chester County, PA, operated by Scott and Jennifer Simpson. The farm grows vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers using organic and sustainable methods, and offers 2 CSA seasons, summer/fall and winter, running from May through Janauary Members can choose from half share, full share, or Buyer's Club seasonal memberships, with the ability to fully customize their weekly selections through an online platform. Typically offering 18 to 23 different items each week, shares may include seasonal vegetables, salad greens, herbs, and more. A Farmer's Choice option is also available for those who prefer to leave the curation to the team. Beyond its core produce, Forge Hill Farms offers a rich variety of add-ons including all-natural beef, pork, and lamb raised on their own family farm, organic-fed eggs, honey, sheep's milk cheese, and other locally sourced pantry staples. Members can also opt into a fruit share in partnership with North Star Orchards or a mushroom share from Norris Farmstand. The on-site and online farm store is open year-round, seven days a week, to both members and non-members.
