    How to Buy

Let customers know how they can buy from you.

Thornbury Farm CSA is one of Chester County's most storied working farms, founded in 1709 and situated on the national historic site of the Battle of Brandywine the largest single-day battle of the American Revolution — at 1256 Thornbury Road in West Chester. Under the leadership of Randell H. Spackman, this remarkable three-centuries-old farm continues its rich agricultural heritage while welcoming the community through its produce market, CSA program, educational offerings, and special events. The farm grows a wide variety of naturally grown vegetables and fruits using organic and sustainable methods, and its public Farm Market is stocked with fresh seasonal produce, free-range eggs, local milk and cheeses, honey, jellies, specialty condiments, baked goods, sauces, treats, and ice cream much of it locally sourced. The market is open to the public Thursday through Sunday during the growing season. CSA memberships begin each June and provide weekly baskets of farm-fresh produce through the fall, with members also enjoying discounts on additional produce and farm classes.
