    How to Buy

Let customers know how they can buy from you.

Two Particular Acres (TPA) is a family farm located at 301 Rittenhouse Road in Royersford, western Montgomery County, PA. Founded and operated by Ned Foley, the farm spans 37 acres and is named as a nod to the Jimmy Buffett song "One Particular Harbour" reflecting how the land serves as Ned's personal oasis. What sets Two Particular Acres apart is its pioneering approach to agricultural composting. As part of its no-till farming program which grows corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, and hay the farm began composting farm manures years ago to eliminate odors from neighboring development, enrich soil health, and reduce reliance on mineral fertilizers. In 2003, Ned received the very first On-Farm Compost Permit ever issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, a testament to the farm's leadership in sustainable agriculture. Today, TPA produces and sells quality compost, topsoil, and mulch, composting feedstocks that include source-separated food waste, agricultural manure, and yard waste. The farm is also a registered yard waste drop-off site for Montgomery County residents. TPA's innovative farming and composting practices have been featured in publications including No-Till Farmer, BioCycle, and Lancaster Farming
