The Milk House Farm Market is a 4th generation family farm and market located at 1118 Slack Road in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2007 by Brenda Slack, the farm's roots date back to 1850 when it was established as a dairy operation. After the cattle were sold off in 1988, Brenda became the first in her family to grow fruits and vegetables on the land, converting the original milk house with some of the original milking equipment still on display into a welcoming farm market. The Slack family farms 120 acres in total: 30 acres dedicated to vegetable and fruit production, and 90 acres for corn, grain, and hay grown for animal feed. Everything sold at the market is planted with certified organic seeds and grown using organic practices, ensuring fresh, sustainable, and naturally grown products for the community. The farm's signature product is its pasture-raised eggs, and visitors are welcome to visit the chickens on the farm. Additional offerings include raw milk, pasture-raised and organically fed chicken, turkey, and pork, fresh seasonal produce, fresh flowers, honey, handmade soaps, and unique craft items from local Bucks County artisans. One of the standout features of the Milk House Farm Market is that it is open every single day of the year from 10 AM to 6 PM, making it a reliable year-round source of locally grown food for the community. Produce and products are also available at the Wrightstown Farmers Market on Saturdays from May through November, and a Winter Market running on select Saturdays.
