Hospitality Spring Farm and Gardens is a diversified, sustainable CSA farm nestled in the Dutch Corner National Agricultural Historic District of Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Founded in July 2014 by Nelson and Sarah Phero, the farm was born from a shared dream the couple carried since their teenage years to build a life rooted in the land and close to nature. The farm operates on a subsistence philosophy, prioritizing the needs of the farming family first and offering the surplus directly to the local community. It raises a wide variety of livestock and produce, including Duroc pigs, a heritage American breed from the 1800s, raised on pasture and fed non-GMO corn and fresh vegetables; registered Saanen dairy goats, a historic Swiss breed prized for their abundant, high-quality milk ideal for drinking, cheese, and yogurt; and a diverse flock of poultry including Wyandotte chickens, Muscovy and Khaki Campbell ducks, and Toulouse and Embden geese. Fresh eggs and young birds are available seasonally.
