Tubmill Creek Farms is a premier beef cattle farm nestled in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania, founded in 2004 by John and Kitty Goodish in New Florence, PA. Spanning over 850 acres across four separate farm locations, the farm specializes in raising Limousin and Lim-Flex (Limousin/Angus cross) cattle — a French breed renowned for exceptional muscle and marbling, producing the highest ratio of muscle to fat for outstanding beef quality. Cattle are pasture-raised their entire lives, rotated freely across the acreage, and grain-finished for 120 days prior to harvest to add marbling. No antibiotics or growth hormones are used. All beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 21 days — sometimes up to 30 days — for superior flavor and tenderness. Consumers can purchase directly at the on-farm meat store (open Fridays 12–5 PM or by appointment), or at Tubmill Creek Provisions, their farm-to-table café, bakery, deli, and butcher shop located in downtown Ligonier, PA, open 7 days a week. The farm also distributes wood pellets for horse bedding, mineral tubs for cattle, and hay and straw year-round.
