Nature Works Farm & Nursery is a family-owned, 35-acre diversified farm located in Homer City, PA, owned and operated by Bob and Cassandra Madden. Born out of a shared passion for small-scale farming, sustainability, and community, the Maddens have built Nature Works into one of the region's most beloved farm and nursery destinations. The heart of the operation is its plant nursery, open mid-April through mid-June, offering an exceptionally wide variety of flower, vegetable, and herb starts, including natives, perennials, fruit plants, heirloom vegetable plants, and beautiful hanging baskets. All growing begins in February on the farm, with a strong focus on natural fertilization and pest control to boost plant vitality.
