Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm is a community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm located at 41B Silver Lake Road in Blairstown, New Jersey. Established in 1988, it is one of the country's longest-running CSA programs, connecting local families with fresh, sustainably grown food and a welcoming farming community. The garden cultivates approximately 20 acres using biodynamic and organic farming practices, growing more than 100 varieties of seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and grains. Its diverse harvest includes tomatoes, lettuce, kale, carrots, beets, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, winter squash, and fresh greens. Members can choose from summer, winter, and full-year CSA shares, receiving generous selections of freshly harvested produce on a weekly or biweekly schedule. During the growing season, members may also enjoy pick-your-own opportunities for designated vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. The farm offers on-site collection in Blairstown, self-organized community pickup groups throughout northern New Jersey, and selected deliveries to partner pickup locations in Hackettstown and Belvidere. Beyond food production, the garden promotes soil health, biodiversity, seed saving, environmental education, and community participation. Members are encouraged to connect with farmers, volunteer, attend seasonal events, and experience the land firsthand. Through its commitment to sustainable agriculture and community relationships, Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm provides fresh, locally grown food throughout the year while helping preserve New Jersey's agricultural landscape.
