Milroy Farms is a fifth-generation, family-owned and operated maple farm located in Salisbury, PA in Somerset County — the leading maple-producing county in Pennsylvania. The farm was founded in 1942 by Mildred and Roy Blocher, who combined their first names to create "Milroy." The maple syrup tradition on the property actually dates back even further to the late 1800s, when Mildred's grandfather William Wagner first began producing maple syrup. Today, Jason Blocher and his wife Melissa, along with family and friends, carry on this cherished tradition. What began as a 250-acre farm has grown to 450 acres with over 14,000 taps, making it one of the largest maple producers in Somerset County. Milroy Farms produces 100% pure maple syrup and a variety of maple products — all finished and packaged in small batches to ensure the best quality, a practice upheld for over 80 years. Products are available for purchase online through their website shop and at select local retail locations. The farm proudly combines age-old traditions with modern technology, and has earned first premium award ribbons at maple festivals for its exceptional quality.
